A really big thank you.

Miss Patrut and I would like to say a really big thank you for the lovely flowers and the very generous vouchers.

As I said this morning, it really has been a pleasure teaching your children. They are such a lovely class full of characters and so much fun who have bonded and worked so well together throughout the year.

They have all made wonderful progress and it is has been so lovely to see them mature and develop since September.

We shall miss them all very much but look forward to seeing them develop even more in year 2.

A big thank you for all of your support, interest and enthusiasm throughout the year too. We feel very lucky to have met and worked with such a great team of parents. Have a wonderful summer and thank you again.

Toy day tomorrow.

As it is the last day of term, children can bring in a toy to share with others tomorrow. We do not want anything like tablets, ipads or really special things just in case anything goes astray. Instead, it would be lovely to bring in favourite board games or other games that we can all play together.

Changing reading books.

Just to let you know we will not be changing reading books today as we need to ensure the year 1 reading books stay in the year 1 classroom ready for next year.

Thank you.

The Smartest Giant in Town, Rosendale’s film.

As part of media week, the whole school made a film about the book ‘The Smartest Giant in Town.”

Miss Badminton has been working hard to get the film edited and we saw the final version in assembly today. See if you recognise any of the voices in the year 1 clip.

Park tomorrow afternoon.

A reminder that tomorrow afternoon we are taking year 1 to the park for an ice lolly. We will be based near the Rosendale Road entrance, please join us if you can from 2.30pm. If it suits, you can sign your children out from us when we leave the park at 3pm to return to school.
There is no need to bring any food with you as the children will have had lunch and we will be buying them an ice lolly.
We hope you can join us!
